There are moments in life when something opens within us, and we remember. Not as a fleeting thought or a belief, but as a direct knowing. At our core, we are love—unconditional, boundless, and untouched by the challenges of life in a physical body.
Many who have brushed against the edge of death speak of it. They describe leaving their bodies and being met by a love so vast and complete that they don’t want to return. Yet, we do return. We come back into our bodies, back into what seems like limitation, back into feeling, thinking, reacting, and struggling.
What If Nothing Has Gone Wrong?
What if nothing has gone wrong? What if this human experience, with all its triggers, contractions, challenges, and heartbreak, is not a mistake to transcend but the very place where the unconditional love of eternity becomes embodied? It’s where God’s boundless love merges with our physical form.
Often, we believe the goal is to rise above the challenges of the body. We think we should escape its density and live only in peace, truth, and love. But what if that’s only half the story? What if we are not here to bypass our human conditioning but to love it, to allow it, and to accompany it back home to the light?
The Body's Feelings
The body feels. It contracts. It reacts with fear, shame, grief, anger, and an inherent sense of 'not enoughness.' In those moments, it can feel like we’ve lost the truth, the essence of who we are. But what if those very moments—those feelings we resist the most—are the doorway to the love we are that never leaves?
Every trigger, every uncomfortable emotion, every “lower” state is not taking us away from love. Instead, it is asking to be met by love. It wants to be allowed—not fixed, not analyzed, and not transcended—but gently held, included, and loved exactly as it arises, in its pain, shame, and guilt.
Real Integration
This is the real integration. It’s not about living in a constant state beyond the human experience but allowing the infinite light of who we are to meet the parts of us that don’t yet feel 'enough.' Perhaps each soul chooses its path—not as punishment, but as a perfectly designed way to bring unconsciousness home into conscious light.
To soften what feels separate, we must remember again and again:
Nothing that arises is ever outside of love.
The thoughts may say otherwise. The body may feel overwhelmed. The world may appear dense. But beneath it all—unchanged and unmoving—is the essence we never lost.
The Invitation
So, the invitation is simple: not to escape the challenges of this human life but to be with them differently. With love. To meet each moment—especially the hard ones—not as obstacles but as openings. This is the way home to the perfect peace of God. Not away from the body, but through it.
Finding Peace in the Present
In our journey, we often seek peace. We desire clarity and confidence in our lives. But peace isn’t something we find by running away from our feelings. Instead, it’s about embracing them. It’s about acknowledging our emotions and allowing them to exist without judgment.
When we face our struggles with love, we create a safe space for healing. We learn to sit with discomfort, to breathe through it, and to understand that it’s a part of our human experience. This gentle acceptance can lead us to profound insights and a deeper connection with ourselves.
The Power of Connection
Connection is vital in this journey. We thrive in relationships, and sharing our experiences can lighten our burdens. When we talk about our feelings, we often find that others share similar struggles. This realization can be comforting. It reminds us that we are not alone.
Consider reaching out to someone you trust. Share your thoughts and feelings. You might be surprised by the understanding and compassion you receive. This connection can be a powerful catalyst for healing.
Embracing the Journey
Life is a journey, filled with ups and downs. It’s essential to embrace every part of it. Each experience, whether joyful or painful, contributes to our growth. Instead of resisting challenges, let’s welcome them as opportunities for learning and transformation.
Remember, it’s okay to feel overwhelmed at times. It’s part of being human. Allow yourself to experience these emotions fully. They are valid and deserve your attention. By doing so, you’ll find that they often lead to greater understanding and acceptance of yourself.
Cultivating Self-Compassion
As we navigate our emotional landscape, self-compassion becomes crucial. Be gentle with yourself. Recognize that it’s okay to struggle. You are doing your best, and that is enough. Treat yourself with the same kindness you would offer a friend in need.
Practice self-care regularly. Engage in activities that nourish your soul. Whether it’s reading, walking in nature, or simply taking a moment to breathe deeply, these practices can help ground you and foster a sense of peace.
The Journey Continues
As we move forward, let’s remember that this journey is ongoing. There will be moments of joy and moments of sorrow. Each is an integral part of our experience. Embrace them all, knowing that they contribute to the beautiful tapestry of your life.
In closing, let’s commit to meeting each moment with love. Let’s allow ourselves to feel deeply and to be present with our experiences. This is the way home to the perfect peace of God.
Endless love...
