Liberation Is Every Colour of the Rainbow

For so long, “Melanie” believed liberation would look like a perfected life story —a perfectly regulated nervous system, a perfectly calm mind, a perfectly healed body, a perfectly steady mental, emotional and physical landscape.
As though freedom meant a body functioning at 100 percent capacity and a psyche never again stirred by the world.
But liberation has nothing to do with that AT ALL :).
The body remains the body —intense one day, porous the next, tired, alive, inflamed, soft, wired, hormonal, peaceful. Weather moving through a sky that does not change.
The mistake was imagining that the weather was me, or that freedom depended on calmer skies.
Liberation is not the end of the rainbow. It is the seeing that the rainbow was never solid to begin with. It never needed to disappear before its insubstantiality could be known.
Its colours can keep shimmering — bright, messy, human — because nothing real can ever be obscured.
Liberation is EVERY colour: the violet of tenderness, the blue of longing, the green of quiet days, the yellow of silliness, the orange of overwhelm, the red of intensity.
Every feeling, every texture, every shifting state —all appearing without a second, without someone behind the scenes 'seemingly' needing to hold it all together.
The character called “me” continues to live as it always has — as all characters do - trying, caring, reacting, loving, fearing, healing, failing, blooming. But now it’s transparent, completely seen through, a play of light. A rainbow arching briefly across the sky of awareness.
Nothing needs ever to be perfected. Nothing needs to be fixed. Nothing needs to be maintained or overcome or 'risen above'. Who would be the one 'over coming' or 'rising above' but a separate phantom?!! How can you perfect a rainbow?
Nothing needs to be 'overcome' because life is playing itself perfectly —in every moment, in every movement, in every apparent mistake or breakthrough. All of it unfolding with absolute precision, effortlessly, without an individual, separate, autonomous 'doer'.
And contrary to the stories we’re told, no spiritual guru “lives as this” in some continuous, elevated state they've 'reached', on some mountain top of enlightenment :).
That is simply another identity, a refined spiritual persona built around the idea of “one who has arrived.” Most don’t even realise how limited and confined they are within that identity —speaking to “others” as though they have found and now inhabit “the way.”
Liberation is not a 'specific' lifestyle, not a state to maintain, not a special frequency, and certainly not an achievement that grants someone authority.
It is the simple recognition that the rainbow of experience has no owner, and never needed to be purified, stabilised, controlled or 'strived' towards....and it is always and only here now.
Liberation can never be ‘abided in’…for who would 'do' the ‘abiding?’ :).
Freedom is not the absence of weather. It is the end of trying to control it, or 'rise above' it, or believing the weather says anything about “me” or about some imagined spiritual or earthly standard.
Life is always unfolding perfectly through its own natural, unfathomable intelligence—through every colour, every mood, every season — and liberation is nothing more than this timeless seeing that everything is already exactly as it must be.
There's simply not two. Never has been. Nothing, no one, ever left Gods Grace.
One infinite white light, expressing itself as a rainbow of Being — 'seeming' to be so many different colours, yet always only One white light.
So magically ordinary.
