The Cosmic Voltage: Centring Yourself Amid Global Upheaval

Tomorrow’s eclipse isn’t the start of what’s stirring in the collective — it’s a surge in a current that has already been running deep. Across politics, media, and the most unsettling stories of corruption, the shadow rises, calling for outrage, finger-pointing, and taking sides. It entices you to react, to get swept up in the wave of collective rage — to join and be seduced by the witch hunt and convince yourself of your own innocence. This is the shadow at play, offering the illusion of moral certainty while demanding your attention.
....And yet, this is exactly the trap. The cosmic current doesn’t ask you to fight the darkness with fire — it asks you to stand present in your own light. True change doesn’t come from reacting, from amplifying anger, or from latching onto a peddled, sensationalised, narrative. It comes from using your power mindfully, from choosing awareness over knee-jerk reactions.
As it was said, “Let he without sin cast the first stone.” This isn’t about pretending everyone is love and light or falling into naive perspectives around the campfire; it’s about eyes wide open but not being dragged unconsciously into any narrative that seeks to fracture your equilibrium. Wisdom is the the ability to pause when the nervous system is reactive and volatile, to create space, to then act with discernment and efficacy — this is TRUE intelligence, this can only come from a nervous system that is balanced, regulated, and attuned.
The eclipse’s energy will touch your personal world as much as the collective. It will appear in relationships with those you love, in small irritations that flare at work, in the brief encounters that rattle you. These moments are invitations — not to lash out, but to witness your own nervous system reactivity, to feel what arises in your body, and to practice presence. The shadow doesn’t live only in the news; it lives in the spaces between you and the world, waiting for conscious, loving attention.
Your Nervous System is the Gateway
Your attention is your power. Where your attention goes, energy flows — and reality organises itself around that. In this moment of collective and individual illumination of shadow, daily practices of centring and grounding ourselves is more important than ever:
Anchoring in the breath
Feeling in to your body fully
Observing emotions without reacting, creating space
Noticing when outrage rises and pausing before acting or speaking
Be discerning with what narrative from your social 'feeds' you allow in to your psyche
Be more in nature
These must become daily practices - they must become a way of life.
This is how you use the eclipse energy wisely. When each individual integrates their own shadow, calms their own nervous system, and chooses presence over projection, the collective field shifts.
Human by human, the huge surge of energy flowing through us transforms from chaos into conscious power — a network of people choosing unity, discernment, and mindful, intelligent action. It starts with each one of us in our ordinary daily lives, we are more powerful in affecting positive change than we realise. The evolution of our own consciousness ripples out.
Electricity in the right hands can illuminate the world - in the wrong hands it can burn it down.
A Call to Mindful Power
The eclipse is not about denying the darkness — it’s about choosing how you respond to it, consciously. You only actually have choice when you are conscious, when you are unconscious you are fodder for whatever narrative spins in to your field and what your consciousness will be influenced by. You can shine light and create wonderful, positive change, without stoking the fire of outrage and division. Anger, when regulated and conscious, can fuel incredible transformation instead of chaos.
You can witness corruption, inequality, and suffering without letting reactive impulses hijack your nervous system and override your grounded perspective and inner power.
It isn’t passivity, it’s regulated, grounded power.
This is the revolution of the heart: not rage, but presence; not division, but discernment; not reaction, but conscious action. Each act of centring, each breath of awareness, each choice to remain grounded in your nervous system when triggered and inflamed is a step toward collective awakening.
In the surge of this eclipse, let your attention be your compass. Let your presence be your power. Let your nervous system be your anchor in the storm of chaos.
